 Mara Cottage in Summer.
Mara Cottage is over 100 years old situated in the small
fishing village of Hilton of Cadboll and is one of the three Seaboard
Villages alongside Balintore and Shandwick. It has been extensively
upgraded and offers a high standard of accomodation.
The cottage sits by the shore of the beautiful Moray Firth in a lovely scenic and peaceful location - perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves breaking on the shore... The area has many local attractions, a wealth of wildlife and has the most temperate climate and least rainfall in Scotland. The adjoining village of Shandwick has an award winning blue
flag beach - perfect for children - if you prefer walking then there is a lovely
coastal walk which is easily accessible from the cottage.
Thare are shops, post office, cafe, resturant and pub all
within easy walking distance of Mara Cottage. |
